Emma Solanki

I have always loved painting. Having grown up on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, most of my artwork is inspired by the sea, wide expanses of sky, winding creaks, beaches and marshland. I enjoy trying to capture the expanses of light on a landscape and the incredible vibrant colours you can encounter in unexpected locations.

I’ve developed more of an abstract style, but always try to capture the unique feeling of a place I am painting. I’m currently living in London and equally love the city. I find it more of a challenge to capture cityscapes, but it’s something I’m really enjoying experimenting with at the moment.
